Most Markdown files are written to be read once and skimmed. Sparks Markdown typesets them instead — the structure you wrote, laid out the way it deserves, in a window that gets out of the way.

What it does
Typeset, not dumped
Headings, tables, quotes, footnotes and task lists land on a measured column that is comfortable to read for a long time.
Code you can take
Syntax colour for around forty languages, and a copy button on every block.
Light and dark
Plus a sans or serif reading face and a normal or wide column, remembered between sessions.
Follows the file
Change the document in another program and the reader reloads it, so it can sit open beside an editor.
Contents that keep up
A table of contents that follows your scrolling, and a reading progress line along the top.
Yours alone
No network, no telemetry, no account inside the app. It opens the file and nothing else.
Why it is free
It came out of the workshop.
Sparks Markdown was built alongside Sparks of Ora'Kai, for reading the notes, drafts and working documents that a long project produces. It was useful enough to keep, so it is here.
The app is free and stays free. The account is only so there is somewhere to tell you when the next thing is ready.
