Ordinary sidechain ducking hears a level. SPC Prism SC hears a shape: it reads the sidechain’s spectrum and casts it as a frequency-selective "Prism Shadow" on the main input — the kick carves out exactly the frequencies the kick occupies, and nothing else. Four engines run the shadow: Prism Wide, 3–6-band Prism Bands, 4–16-node Prism Filters and a WOLA Prism Spectral engine, all sharing one live analyzer that overlays target, sidechain shape and the actual applied effect. A prominent switch picks the philosophy: Surgical keeps the ducking frequency-shaped, with a Pump Amount that blends continuously toward traditional full-band pumping and an Aggression curve reaching 120 dB; EDM Kill forces a full-band razor path in every engine — a valid trigger takes the signal to exact digital silence as fast as EDM Tightness demands. The detector is complete: peak/RMS/hybrid/onset detection, gate, range filters, lookahead, hold, adaptive release and variable stereo link, with six sidechain sources including two recordable audio snapshot slots and eight learned spectral profile slots. Eight editable shape nodes offer per-node response, Q, timing and solo. Every main knob clicks open to a typed-entry popup, every control carries a floating mini tutorial, and the clickable SIDE CHAIN guide with safe Auto Setup means the manual lives inside the plugin.
